Delivery Driver Duties & Responsibilities As a Delivery Driver, you will: Safely drive and operate a company-provided delivery vehicle. Deliver Amazon packages safely, accurately, and on time. Use a handheld delivery device for routing, navigation, and customer delivery information. Navigate a variety of routes throughout the designated delivery area. Load, organize, transport, and unload packages throughout your shift. Follow all company and Amazon safety procedures and delivery standards. Provide professional and courteous service to customers. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the shift. Walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs throughout the workday. Perform physically demanding delivery activities for shifts typically lasting 8-10 hours. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to safely operate a delivery vehicle. Must be available to work weekends and maintain flexibility based on business needs. Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements.
