Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Parts & Delivery Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. The Parts Delivery & Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts to commercial and retail customers while supporting the Parts Department with warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer service. This position requires a dependable individual who can work independently, maintain accurate inventory, safely handle automotive parts, and provide professional service to customers and coworkers.
•6 month contract then the company will hire direct. Driving & Delivery Safely deliver automotive components to commercial and retail customers. Ensure the correct parts are delivered to the correct customer or location. Load and secure parts properly to prevent damage during transportation. Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers. Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies. Assist with basic store inventory and customer service duties as needed. Warehouse Duties Receive inbound freight and shipments. Inspect incoming parts for damage, shortages, or discrepancies. Properly stock and organize parts in designated locations. Maintain accurate inventory on inbound and outbound freight. Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Assist with inventory counts and locating parts when needed. Order Fulfillment Pick parts from warehouse shelves according to picking sheets. Verify part numbers, descriptions, and quantities for accuracy. Check picked parts against the picking sheet before releasing the order. Deliver completed orders to the appropriate Parts Consultant, Body Shop, or Technician. Return unused or incorrectly pulled parts to the proper location. Qualifications Driver's License Must have a valid driver's license. Must maintain a clean driving record that meets company insurance standards. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift and move boxes and automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the workday. Ability to safely load and unload deliveries. Basic Skills Good local navigation skills. Basic math skills for paperwork and inventory. Ability to read picking sheets, invoices, and part information accurately. Clear verbal and written communication. Ability to stay organized and pay attention to detail.
