Job Description
Delivery Driver Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Delivery Driver for a metalworking company based in Tuscaloosa , AL . You will have the opportunity to work for a full-service metalworking company with a proven reputation for quality and service to their customers. Pay Rate $ 1 9 .00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday , Either 6 00 AM to 3 00 PM or 7 00 AM to 4 00 PM Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store in coming freight. Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment using inventory systems and barcode scanners . Safely operate company vehicles (e.g. box trucks, delivery vans) transport goods . Interact with clients, assist with product unloading/placement, and handle delivery paperwork and signatures . Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and for klifts . Conduct routine vehicle and equipment inspections, maintain a clean, hazard free warehouse while adhering to safety guidelines. Delivery Driver Qualifications and Requirements Must have a valid drivers license, clear motor vehicle record and background check. Ability to lift heavy items, walk/stand for extended periods of time Strong time management, problem solving, and scheduling skills .
