Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. A strong focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential. Candidate must posses a valid Class B CDL with a Class A CDL preferred. Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including vans, box trucks, semi-tractors, forklifts, and flatbed trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist in managing inventory and ensuring that all items are accounted for before and after delivery. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe handling of large items is essential. Experience driving vans or commercial vehicles; knowledge of manual transmission is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience operating forklifts or other moving equipment is advantageous but not mandatory. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; commercial driving experience is preferred.
