Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Technician / Delivery professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products efficiently and safely to our customers while providing exceptional service. Your expertise in customer service will ensure smooth delivery processes and customer satisfaction. This position offers an energetic work environment where your skills in communication, knowledge for our product and customer interaction will shine. You will be our liaison between River Valley Golf Carts and the Customer. Duties Safely operate trucks and trailers for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload golf carts in a safely manner, securing them to the trailers in a fashion as not to scratch, scrape or damage the units in any way Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and golf carts before and after routes to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning optimal routes using mobile devices or GPS tools Maintain the showroom floor as well as the front lot, while maintaining organization of units Assist with PDI's (pre delivery inspections), service and repairs Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, addressing customer inquiries professionally, and representing the company positively during interactions Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injury and ensure workplace safety Experience Previous experience or familiarity with golf carts and or service and repairs is preferred Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and load management Experience operating trucks and pulling trailers is highly desirable Knowledge of manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices in a workplace environment Familiarity with DOT regulations vehicle operation, and transportation safety standards Ability to hook up trailers, secure loads, navigate through city roadways while pulling trailers is highly desirable Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols during all deliveries Join us if you're ready to energize your career by delivering excellence every day! $14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
