This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values safety, and wants to make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives. Morning Route:

Afternoon Route:
Approximately 2 hours Monday through Friday Split-shift schedule Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school using a school-owned minivan. Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure students are safely seated and wearing seat belts before the vehicle is in motion. Maintain a calm, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere during transportation. Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and administration. Report accidents, incidents, vehicle concerns, or student issues immediately. Maintain accurate transportation logs and mileage records. Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good operating condition. Follow all Arizona traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety procedures. Assist with loading and unloading students as needed. Maintain confidentiality regarding students and families. Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record. Minimum age of 21 years. Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check. Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint clearance. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Previous experience transporting children or working in a school environment is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with school-aged children. Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. Defensive driving training or commercial driving experience. Knowledge of the Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, and surrounding East Valley communities. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Ability to enter and exit the vehicle multiple times during each route. Ability to assist students entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
