Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and organize materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Execute timely deliveries to customers' locations using route driving best practices, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route information, and communicate with team members effectively. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse support role with knowledge of delivery driving procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks is highly preferred. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles; familiarity with manual handling and heavy lifting practices. Knowledge of warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and moving carts. Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
