Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination while maintaining organizational accuracy. Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, building positive relationships through professional and friendly interactions. Handle heavy lifting and merchandise merchandising tasks with proper techniques to prevent injury. Upsell additional products or services where appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, route logs, and client communications for record-keeping purposes. Follow all safety protocols related to automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and driving regulations to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or retail store delivery roles. Strong math skills for pricing calculations and basic inventory management. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Prior experience in customer service or building customer relationships is highly desirable.
