Delivery Driver

Our client, a leading regional industrial supply and materials provider, is looking for a Delivery Driver to join their team in Bakersfield, California . In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely distribution of industrial products and equipment, including the handling of regulated materials, while providing exceptional service to local customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products, equipment, and materials to customer sites. Load, unload, and properly secure materials for transport, including heavy or bulky industrial items. Transport regulated or hazardous materials (such as compressed gases or automotive products) in strict compliance with DOT and OSHA laws. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain fleet safety. Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and all required shipping documentation. Provide professional and courteous customer service during all deliveries and pickups. Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory handling and order staging, as operational needs require. Coordinate effectively with dispatch and internal teams to optimize routes and schedules.

Requirements:

Licensing:

Valid driver's license (Class C or higher); a CDL is considered a significant plus.

Endorsements:

Hazmat endorsement is highly preferred (may be required depending on the specific route).

Experience:

Previous experience in professional delivery, route driving, or warehouse operations.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to consistently lift and move between 50-75 lbs.

Compliance:

Strong attention to detail regarding safety regulations and a clean driving record.

Pay Rate:

$18.00•$20.00 per hour

Workdays:

Monday•Friday (Weekends as needed)

Hours:
