Job Description The Parts Dispatcher coordinates the routes the delivery drivers make to our local area customers. The Dispatcher must train each new parts driver and make sure that without exception, the Delivery Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times. In addition, he/she will conduct vehicle safety inspections and support the parts department by putting stock away, pulling parts for delivery, and maintaining good housekeeping for the department. This position will also serve as an additional parts drivers to make deliveries to our customers. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, strong computer and customer service skills, and excellent communication skills with the ability to give work direction and train the drivers. Candidates must be able to safely lift 50 pounds independently.
