Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, for route deliveries. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques. Deliver products to customers accurately and on schedule, ensuring proper handling of goods. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and stock organization when required. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Follow all traffic laws and company policies related to driving and safety protocols. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role involving route driving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads safely (heavy lifting) and perform physical tasks such as moving items or pallets. Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients. Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules and safety standards.
