Full Job Description Position:

Delivery Driver

•Full/Part Time

Hourly Position Scope:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery of prescriptions and medical products to patients, health care providers, and health care facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures and standard operating procedures Complete onboarding and training applicable to responsibilities, duties and tasks Participate in staff meetings and quarterly assurance review meetings Ensure the completion and delivery of facility and retail orders Comply with all changes in workflow, pharmacy operations, compliance and regulatory requirements Work with management in promptly resolving issues and concerns Maintain high levels of customer service Record any patient concerns and complaints, and forward to the supervisor Deliver prescription and medical products to patients, healthcare providers and healthcare facilities Complete delivery documentation and ensure that all information is accurate and complete Perform cleaning and simple maintenance of the delivery vehicle Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to upper management Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with employees and customers Participate in inspections, audits and surveys conducted by authorized agencies. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist and direct supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

Maintain a valid California driver's license Able to lift or move up to 80 lbs Able to drive safely, stand and sit for long periods of time Able to efficiently use computer systems and delivery equipment Effectively communicate, verbally and in written form, to employees, management, patients, vendors and other health care providers Effectively perform tasks with the necessary manual, visual and auditory abilities
