Provide assistance in all aspects of daily living. Follow response procedures for all home emergencies (medical/dental, behavioral, natural incidents) Assist with maintenance and sanitation of home and surroundings Job Requirements Prior experience providing direct care and supervision to persons with special needs is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and staff. Able to meet Title 22 requirements, including, but not limited to: Minimum age 18 High school diploma or GED certificate Fingerprinting and clear criminal record Health screen and TB clearance (TB clearance every two to five years thereafter) CPR and first aid training (and every two years annually) Valid and current California driver's license and clear driving record (for drivers) Ability to lift 50 lbs (to transfer individuals).
