RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Loading, transporting, and delivering food items in a safe, timely manner Complete daily pre-inspection of assigned truck Pick up of merchandise from local vendors Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record Review customer invoices before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and correct Service customer while at delivery site based on the appropriate service level requested by the customer (i.e., pallet drops, restock, specific merchandise organization, etc.) Use material handling equipment (electric pallet jacks, etc.) per certification in a safe manner to perform all daily duties Maintain neat, and legible vehicle and driver documents (Route Log, Pre-Inspection Report, Credit Books, etc.) Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or higher Age 21+ Demonstrate ability to read, write and perform basic math skills in English. Must pass background check and drug test (5 panel test) Must provide DMV printout of driving record, have no violations in the last three years, and possess current eligibility to drive. Must possess current California non-commercial driver's license (Class C) Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a delivery role to include pallet drops and breaking down the pallets for customers. Demonstrated ability to load/unload trailers using forklift, manual jack, and distribution center equipment. Have knowledge of the local driving area and an ability to use a map/GPS. Electric pallet jack (walk behinds and manual) 1-year minimum experience.
