CUSTOMER SERVICE

". SUMMARY Espinoza Brothers Class A Driver delivers customer merchandise; may be long distances within or out state. Delivery Drivers often assist with loading and unloading their vehicle and are responsible for ensuring that their goods arrive safely and on schedule. As a CDL driver, your commitment to exceed customer expectations and ensuring customers orders; large or small are delivered on time.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS and

RESPONSIBLITIES

Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle. Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs. Loading, transporting, and delivering food items in a safe, timely manner. Complete daily pre-inspection of assigned truck. Pick-up merchandise from local vendors. Review customer invoices before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and correct. Service customer while at delivery site based on the appropriate service level requested by the customer (i.e., pallet drops, restock, specific merchandise organization, etc.). Use material handling equipment (electric pallet jacks, hand cart, etc.) per certification in a safe manner to perform all daily duties. Maintain neat, and legible vehicle and driver documents (route log, pre-Inspection report, credit books, etc.). Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. SKILLS and

ABILITIES

Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to speak face to face with customers; receive and write orders. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules; available to complete full route/hours allowed by the DOT. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record Comply with all DOT regulations. Read and write in English, Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Must be 21 years of age. Valid California Class A Driver's License without any restrictions; air brakes (L,Z), night driving (G), intrastate only (K). Clean MVR printout. Current DOT physical/medical certificate. Minimum High school or GED desired. 1-year basic warehousing and/or delivery experience preferred. At least 1-year OTR experience. Tanker endorsements preferred.
