We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. Approximate hours are 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Shifts are approximately 10 hours per day and all drivers are required to work at least ONE weekend day as part of their weekly schedule and the current needed schedule includes Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon. Compensation & Benefits $24.50/ Hour (regular rate) - $36.75/hour (overtime) Paid Training Paid Overtime and Time Off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement, 401k, and health insurance For more details about this job, please read below: As a delivery driver for Cornerstone Delivery Service, you will be delivering packages to residents and businesses. We provide all the tools you'll need for the day: a company van, a device to log your packages, a dispatcher to assist you as necessary throughout the day, and the packages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Attendance expectation : It is essential that you show up on time to fulfill your scheduled shifts consistently. We have a strict attendance policy and failure to adhere will result in termination. Performance expectation : Drivers are provided training and tools to execute deliveries in an efficient and SAFE manner.
Attitude :
You'll need to bring a "can-do" positive outlook, and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with our Dispatch team, Amazon staff, and customers. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Able to lift packages up to 50 Lbs. Must have valid Driver's License Must work a Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday schedule
Schedule:
We part-time and full-time schedules. Note that overtime is paid for hours over 8 per day and 40 per week.
Full Time :
Up to 4 days per week
Part Time :
2-3 days per week A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
