We are looking for a reliable, personable Temporary Route Sales & Delivery Representative to cover an established retail route in the Inland Empire. This is a hands-on field position combining sales, delivery, stocking, merchandising, and customer service. You will service existing convenience stores, liquor stores, smoke shops, gas stations, and similar retailers throughout the Inland Empire. This is not a warehouse-only or delivery-only position. You will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, identifying what stores need, taking orders, delivering product, and keeping products stocked and merchandised.

What You'll Do Drive an established Inland Empire retail route Visit approximately 10-15 existing retail accounts per day Build and maintain relationships with store owners, managers, and employees Check inventory and identify products that need to be reordered Take customer orders Deliver product to stores Load and unload the delivery vehicle Stock and merchandise products in stores Use a hand truck/dolly to move cases when appropriate Maintain clean and organized product displays Report completed visits, orders, customer issues, and follow-up needs Help prevent existing customers from running out of product What We're Looking For Valid California driver's license Acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to and from the Riverside route start location Comfortable driving throughout the Inland Empire during the workday Comfortable working independently without direct supervision throughout the day Able to safely load, unload, carry, stock, push, pull, and move product Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs Able to safely use a hand truck/dolly Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable, organized, and able to manage a route efficiently Comfortable speaking with store owners and managers and asking for orders Able to use a smartphone for route management, photos, communication, and reporting Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: DSD / direct-store delivery Route sales Beverage distribution Convenience-store or liquor-store sales Merchandising Food or beverage delivery Wholesale distribution Retail account management Physical Requirements This is an active field position that includes loading, unloading, delivering, and stocking cases of product throughout the day. The employee must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, loading, unloading, and using a hand truck/dolly. The position requires regular lifting of up to 50 lbs . Typical products include beverage cases, 24-packs of canned drinks, and master cases. The heaviest current master cases are approximately 29 lbs, but employees must be able to safely handle loads of up to 50 lbs as required by the position. About the Assignment This is a temporary position covering an established Inland Empire route . The accounts and customer relationships already exist. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent service, keep customers stocked, take orders, and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts. This is not a cold door-to-door sales position. The expected assignment is approximately 2-10 weeks , depending on business needs. Strong performers may be considered for continued employment after the temporary assignment.
