Immediate openings for FedEx Ground CSP Pickup and Delivery Driver in Oakland, CA! Responsibilities Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule. Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items. Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints; adjusting orders. Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; alerting management to any issues with the truck's operation. Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with the organization's operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations. Skills CDL not required. Handling and maneuvering up to 80 lb boxes (with hand trucks or dollies). Clean driving record (No DUI, No Suspensions, No cell phone violations, and no moving violations in the past 3 years). Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license. Consent to a drug test and Department of Transportation Physical exam (paid for by employer) and random screening throughout employment. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good operating/cosmetic condition. Follow all FedEx and Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards. Good communication and customer service skills. Fast learner and team player. Must follow all managers' instructions. Must be able to read a map.

PAY :

Training/probation is $140 per day, Starting Pay from per day ($19 to $23 per hour based on a 8-hour day) depending on experience and performance

SCHEDULE

: Start time is 8am-10am, shift goes through delivery completion (typically some time between 4pm-6pm). MUST be available for Saturday and/or Sunday duties
