Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various retail stores, commercial clients, and distribution centers. Your primary focus will be ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all safety and transportation regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, to deliver products across designated routes Ensure accurate pricing and proper handling of merchandise during transportation Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe lifting practices Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details and address any concerns Perform heavy lifting and merchandising tasks as required, utilizing safe lifting techniques Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths and adhering to schedules Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction Keep detailed records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and client signatures Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and reliable service Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, including heavy truck or automobile transportation Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and safe lifting practices Strong math skills for pricing calculations and basic inventory management Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising is a plus Organizational skills for route planning, record keeping, and time management Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships Sales aptitude for upselling products or services when appropriate Familiarity with route driving technology and GPS systems This position offers an engaging opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation.
