Duties Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products to retail stores and clients. Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Load, unload, and secure merchandise using safe lifting practices, often involving heavy lifting or merchandising tasks. Communicate clearly with clients and team members to confirm delivery details, address concerns, and build strong customer relationships. Manage route schedules proactively, making adjustments as needed to ensure on-time deliveries. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for organizational efficiency. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, route planning, and inventory management. Proven ability in customer service and client communication to foster positive relationships. Experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices for heavy items. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged driving periods; comfortable with manual handling tasks. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients seamlessly.
