Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, to deliver food orders across designated routes. Load and unload deliveries efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Ensure accurate order handling by verifying delivery details and maintaining proper documentation. Navigate routes effectively using GPS or route maps to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers courteously, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving food packages or supplies, maintaining safety standards at all times. Communicate promptly with dispatch or team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or food delivery services. Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or vehicles with manual transmissions. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and inventory handling. Knowledge of route driving best practices to optimize efficiency and safety. Customer service skills that demonstrate professionalism and positive interaction with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving supplies or packages safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is a plus.
