The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and familiarity with various driving and loading equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate a cargo van or similar vehicle for deliveries. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring all items are secured during transport. Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks. Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience with commercial driving, specifically operating cargo vans or larger vehicles. Ability to lift heavy items (up to approximately 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks consistently throughout the day. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, along with knowledge of loading/unloading procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
