Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas in accordance with hospital procedures. Issue, collect, and document visitor badges, temporary credentials, keys, and/or access devices as assigned. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
