Job Description
Company Overview Chinook Pharmacy is a locally-owned pharmacy, dedicated to prioritizing the well-being of our patients. We are committed to delivering personalized, friendly service and ensuring each customer receives expert care and attention from our team of caring professionals. Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting medications to our customers while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to navigate efficiently using our provided optimized routing via GPS technology. You will perform one daily pickup at 4:00 in the afternoon each weekday. The packages can then be delivered any time between 4:00-8:00PM throughout the Metro area. We do 20-30 deliveries per day which can be done by a single driver or split between 2 drivers to shrink down the area you are covering. Each delivery pays at $10/delivery, with an increased rate for deliveries that are over 10 miles from the previous delivery point. Duties Safely operate your own passenger car or commercial vehicle to deliver prescriptions to customers in a timely manner. Our GPS navigation system will plan optimal delivery routes. Load, unload, and handle packages, ensuring safe handling of items. Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and GPS tracking policies during all driving activities. Maintain accurate delivery records via our software system and communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times or issues using mobile devices. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating standard passenger cars. A smart phone capable of integrating with the RxMile application. Proven delivery driver experience, ideally within pharmacy or healthcare settings. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, including air brake operation if applicable, and adverse weather driving conditions. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service in a professional manner.
