Main Duties:
Strong communication skills! Reports to work on time minutes (before the scheduled departure time) to prepare for the day's work and review orders. Reviews driver manifest at beginning of each work day, matches the manifest invoice number with customer invoice number, and updates/adjusts manifests and invoices as necessary. Organizes the assigned paperwork for the day's deliveries, and maintains accurate reports and daily logs. Drives in a safe and courteous manner, obeying all DOT requirements and traffic laws and regulations. All activities must be accomplished according to customer guidelines and while adhering to safety regulations Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times Following customer service delivery standards, meeting the customer's needs as best as possible. Counting the product accurately when loading and delivering. Interacting and communicating with supervisors and customers in regards to service needs and/or emergencies. Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas Handing customers credit slips if applicable, and collecting... Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required Recording all trips and completing related paperwork. (Must be able to complete the paperwork in English) DOT Medical card Valid Driver's License Job Qualifications/ Requirements At least 1-2 years' experience driving trucks OR an entry level driver certificate for new truck drivers No DWI/DUI convictions
