Position Summary:

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Part-Time Route Delivery Driver to manage scheduled deliveries of freshly roasted coffee beans, single-serve pods, and related supplies to our wholesale and commercial clients across Connecticut. Working 2 to 3 days per week , this role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible yet consistent part-time schedule with a growing, local brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Route Delivery:

Safely load, transport, and deliver wholesale coffee orders and supplies to commercial clients, cafes, and retail locations across various Connecticut routes.

Client Relations:

Act as a friendly, professional ambassador for Candlewood Coffee when interacting with business owners and managers upon delivery.

Order Accuracy:

Verify shipping invoices against loaded inventory and delivered items to ensure absolute accuracy.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine pre- and post-trip safety checks on company delivery vehicles and maintain a clean, organized cargo space.

Timeliness:

Manage route schedules efficiently to ensure all deliveries are made on time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Driver's License:

Clean driving record with a valid CT driver's license (Commercial Driver's License / CDL is not required).

Experience:

Previous delivery driving, courier, or route sales experience is a plus, but a great attitude and reliability are our top priorities.

Physical Reliability:

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (bags of coffee beans/cases weighing up to 50 lbs) and safely handle repetitive loading/unloading.

Time Management:

Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate efficiently across Connecticut roads.

Professional Demeanor:

Dependable, punctual, and possesses strong customer service skills.
