Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment, to transport orders to customers' locations. Navigate route driving efficiently using GPS or traditional maps to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload food orders with care, often involving heavy lifting and moving items safely. Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and route documentation for accountability. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions politely, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving to uphold safety standards for yourself and others. Assist with warehouse tasks when not on deliveries, such as organizing supplies or preparing orders for dispatch. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks comfortably, including the use of forklifts or pallet jacks if certified. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools to optimize delivery routes.
