Responsibilities Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT regulations. Load, unload, and handle food orders with care, practicing safe lifting techniques and manual handling practices. Navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure prompt deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery. Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete shift reports, and document any incidents or delays promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and warehouse operations when loading or unloading supplies. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and report any vehicle issues or route challenges. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting, moving boxes or pallets using equipment like pallet jacks or material handling tools. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Comfortable working independently on route while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Experience operating mobile devices for navigation and communication purposes is preferred.
