Job Description
Job Purpose:
To drive various size trucks to safely deliver merchandise/cargo to our customer.Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver product throughout the Tri-State area.
- 12-15 deliveries per day.
- Verify documentation and condition of freight to assure quality standards are achieved
- Must be able to push a pallet weighing maximum of 2500 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds from trailers or trucks
- Maintain a clean and safe work truck
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Must have forklift, manual and electric pallet jack experience Minimum 21 years of age High School diploma or GED Authorized to work in the Unites States No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations within the past 3 years No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations within the past 6 months Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language in order to perform the various tasks of the job, including but not limited to: converse with co-workers and members of the general public; understand oral and written instructions as well as governmental regulations; respond to questions and inquires from management and government representatives; understand highway traffics signs and signals; and accurately review and complete various shipping documents, reports and records required of the position.
