Job Description

Deliver lumber and building materials safely and efficiently to job sites and customers' homes using company vehicles Load, secure, transport, and unload lumber and building materials safely and efficiently Verify orders and materials before delivery to help ensure customers receive the correct products Use knowledge of lumber and building materials to properly handle, organize, and deliver products Provide professional and helpful customer service to contractors, homeowners, and other customers at delivery locations Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone with professionalism and a helpful attitude Assist with loading customer orders and preparing materials for delivery or pickup Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, store, and delivery vehicles Help stock and organize inventory in the store and yard Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the yard, store, and delivery areas Follow all safety protocols, material-handling practices, and company procedures at all times Be a dependable team member with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required Knowledge of lumber and building materials is strongly preferred Previous experience in delivery, construction, lumber/building materials, retail, or a related field is preferred Ability to safely operate company vehicles and work in a fast-paced yard and delivery environment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn Forklift experience is a plus; we will train if needed What We're Looking For We are looking for a dependable delivery-focused team member with knowledge of lumber and building materials . The ideal candidate is comfortable driving a company vehicle, working with contractors and homeowners, handling heavy materials, and providing professional customer service. This position requires someone who takes safety seriously, works well as part of a team, and is willing to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities in the yard, store, and delivery operation.
