Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local DOT regulations. Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues. Load, secure, transport, and unload freight using proper safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery logs, hours‑of‑service records, and required documentation. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic, weather, or delivery changes. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel. Ensure cargo is delivered in good condition and resolve basic delivery issues on-site.
