Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks, to deliver goods across designated routes Navigate efficiently using route planning tools, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Load and unload merchandise, practicing safe lifting techniques and heavy lifting practices to prevent injuries Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions and building rapport to foster customer satisfaction Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records in accordance with company policies Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or heavy vehicle operation preferred, with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type Retail store experience or merchandising background advantageous for understanding product placement and presentation Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and basic inventory management Proven ability to build positive customer relationships through excellent communication skills and professional demeanor Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices essential for compliance and safety on the road Experience in sales or upselling techniques beneficial for maximizing delivery opportunities Military background or disciplined organizational skills valued for maintaining punctuality, route efficiency, and safety standards Join us as a Delivery Driver if you're motivated by movement, enjoy engaging with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact customer satisfaction!
