Company Overview Forget Me Not Florist family owned and operated floral shop dedicated to creating beautiful arrangements and delivering exceptional customer service. Overview We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant to join our team. This role combines the excitement of delivering fresh floral orders while supporting daily shop operations. If you enjoy driving, manual handling and processing of flowers, providing excellent customer service, this opportunity is perfect for you! The position also offers the opportunity to explore floral design for the right candidate. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial delivery van. Follow delivery guidelines and procedures. Assist in shop with various duties including processing incoming flowers, cleaning, shopping errands, maintaining a clean and organized walk in cooler. Provide friendly customer service during deliveries and assist with in-store interactions with walk-in customers as well as answer phone calls. Handle all vehicle maintenance appointments during working hours as necessary. (oil changes, tire issues, mechanical problems. Assist with drop off and pick up of van.) Willingness to learn basic bouquet assembly as well as other simple arrangements. Requirements Valid driver's license with copy of driving record from DMV. Knowledge of the Middletown, Townsend and Bear areas Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communicating with customers/recipients professionally to handle delivery issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during holidays with multitasking skills. Must be flexible daily with start end time due to early or late day delivery requests, extended hours during holidays, possible occasional Saturday wedding set ups and cover alternate driver as necessary.
