Duties Safely operate box trucks or personal vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices and weight management in the workplace Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication with dispatch teams Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards and vehicle maintenance needs Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting material handling activities as needed Provide excellent customer service by delivering items courteously, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each interaction Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial truck driving or courier services Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type Experience operating box trucks or personal vehicles for delivery purposes Familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling, heavy lifting, and the use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices to ensure safety at all times Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles is a plus; strong driving skills are essential Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS technology Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Join us in delivering excellence!
