PM How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Communicate observations, incidents, and access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required reports and documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least one year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
