Job Description:
Chemical Tanker Driver Delta Tank Lines is hiring an experienced CDL A chemical tanker driver for local work. Drivers transport hazardous liquid chemicals in DOT 412 tank trailers between customer locations. Products include corrosive chemicals such as caustics, acids, and peroxide based chemicals. This position is for drivers with real chemical experience. It is steady local work with assigned equipment and drivers are home every night. Drivers typically work 60 to 65 hours per week. Drivers have some flexibility to set a schedule that works best for them. Pay $85,000 to $102,000 per year Over $2,000 or more available in Safety bonuses during the first year Schedule Local work Home every night 60 to 65 hours per week Flexible start times, Drivers set schedule commitments within HOS. Equipment Assigned tractor and trailer, no slip seating DOT 412 chemical tanker equipment Benefits Company paid health insurance premiums Two weeks PTO available during the first year, subject to company scheduling requirements and policy This is not an entry level tanker position. Applicants should have prior chemical hauling or chemical operations experience and be confident and capable of working around corrosive chemical products in a safety sensitive environment. Drivers are responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering hazardous liquid chemicals while following company safety procedures, customer requirements, and transportation regulations.
Job Requirements:
Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Minimum 3 years of chemical transport or chemical plant operations experience DOT 412 tanker familiarity required Experience working with caustics, acids, peroxides, or similar chemicals preferred No preventable accidents within the previous 3 years Ability to maintain a valid DOT medical certification Ability to safely work in a full chemical protective suit when required

75000.00 - 102000.00 per year
