Overview Join our dynamic team as a Local Driver (Fedex Deliveries) and become the vital link that keeps our operations moving smoothly! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various destinations within the local area. Your positive attitude, excellent driving skills, and commitment to customer service will ensure timely deliveries and satisfied clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving expertise makes a real impact every day. Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to customer's front doors, or retail locations within designated routes Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, hand carts ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading your vehicle.
