Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols Load, unload, and organize packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while optimizing fuel and time resources Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns Load and secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit, utilizing manual lifting techniques for heavy items Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports throughout your shift Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and preparing shipments for delivery Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Previous experience in delivery driving or route driving is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods. Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required; training may be provided. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
