Job Information Date Opened 09/30/2026 Job Type Full time Industry Logistics Work Experience 2-3 Years City Miami State/Province Florida Country United States Zip/Postal Code 33102 Job Description The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading global warehousing and logistics company, and we are looking to hire an experienced and dependable Driver for their Miami, FL location. Working under the direction of the Project Coordinator and reporting to the Operations Manager, The Driver plays a key role in safe and efficient transportation, delivery, packing, and installation of high-value furniture and artwork.
Schedule:
Full-Time | 7:00 AM-7:00 PM based on project needs Occasional weekends/overtime | Up to 25% travel, including overnight/out-of-state trips
What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities Lead and communicate all company, project, and installation-related information to the team Provide leadership and participate in team meetings focused on operations, planning, and goal setting Prepare and maintain documentation including Condition Reports, BOLs, Supply Lists, ADV Forms, Invoices, and Matrix sheets Track and record time, tools, and materials for accurate job invoicing Tag, photograph, measure, inventory, and consolidate items for secure storage or transportation Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of trucks, kits, and equipment Train and mentor team members on the proper handling, moving, packing, and installation of furniture and artwork Ensure proper handling and movement of client property in accordance with company protocols Identify and resolve issues during installation, moving, and packing operations Operate all tools and equipment safely and efficiently Follow safe driving practices and established driver safety standards Report damage immediately and complete required damage reports within 24 hours Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop solutions and resolve issues Implement and train on proactive measures to prevent damage Knowledge & Development Continuously expand knowledge of furniture and artwork handling, storage, and transportation techniques Develop expertise in specialized packing, installation, shipping, and crating methods Participate in cross-training opportunities within the operations team Support knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization Administrative & Miscellaneous Duties Complete all administrative documentation required for project completion Follow the company dress code and always represent the company professionally Maintain patience and professionalism when interacting with clients Use time, materials, and resources efficiently to support company profitability Perform other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Education, Experience and Licenses High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2-3 years of experience in moving, packing, delivery, or installation Customer service and supervisory experience preferred Valid Florida Driver's License and proof of insurance required Additional Skills & Attributes Ability to read and understand documents Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients Ability to make sound and reasonable decisions independently Basic math skills required Physical Demands Ability to walk, crouch, climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 100 lbs Manual dexterity required to handle objects and tools Requires close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus What You Can Expect Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and equipment Potential exposure to electrical shock from powered tools Work may involve high noise levels Travel between client locations and storage facilities required If you are a reliable, safety-focused professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and handling valuable items with care, we invite you to apply.
