Duties Safely operate vans to deliver construction materials to various locations within the local region. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow designated routes efficiently, adjusting as needed based on traffic conditions and delivery priorities. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, verifying orders against delivery manifests and obtaining customer signatures when required. Maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards during all driving activities. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers via mobile devices to confirm delivery details or resolve issues promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle is always in optimal condition for safe operation. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in warehouse operations involving material handling and moving goods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating vans preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with weight handling in the workplace is essential. Knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for commercial vehicles. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus; comfort with mobile devices for navigation and communication is required. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients at delivery sites. Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly, use pallet jacks or other material handling equipment confidently. Prior experience in warehouse operations or working with material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
