Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable
AFTERNOON/EVENING
(Avg shift is 1:00pm to 9:00pm) Parts Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting parts to our parts exchange hub each evening and occasionally some odds and ends deliveries along the way, ensuring timely deliveries with a focus on excellent customer service. Your role is vital in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting our commitment to prompt, reliable service. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles (box trucks) while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and standards. Load, unload, and secure parts using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and fork lifts. Deliver parts promptly to customers' locations or internal departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices and update delivery status in real-time. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with vehicle maintenance protocols. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and dispatchers to coordinate routes and resolve any delivery issues swiftly. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver with a focus on material handling and moving items. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or courier services is preferred. Knowledge of traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and using mobile devices for navigation or communication. Strong customer service skills with the ability to represent our company professionally during deliveries. Physical capability to lift heavy items regularly while following safety guidelines; familiarity with manual handling equipment like pallet jacks is a plus. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently across multiple stops throughout the day. $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
