POSOTION SUMMARY

Establish and maintains good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. Maintain an excellent driving record. Monday through Friday 40 hours a week. Competitive Salary.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Responsible for all deliveries to commercial accounts from the store location. Picks up and delivers items to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Collects account payments. Checks payments received with the invoice for each delivery. Checks with the dispatcher before leaving the store to coordinate any last-minute pickups or deliveries. Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for pickups for vendors. Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups. Requests customers signature for delivery. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered items. Advises manager if the delivery truck needs repair and maintenance. Assists in the warehouse as needed when not making deliveries. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures. Immediately report any accidents/ incidents to the store manager. Must possess a valid driver's license subject to the following conditions: No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 5 years. No more than two "moving violations" within the last 36 months. No operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver's license. Not have automobile insurance canceled because of poor driving record within the last 36 months. Must be capable of unloading items for customers in a safe and secure manner. Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers to ensure proper identification.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
