Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered in good condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely deliveries according to the schedule. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.
