Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, professional, and safety-conscious Golf Cart Delivery Driver to deliver and pick up golf carts for customers. This position is responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading golf carts while providing excellent customer service and representing the dealership professionally. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving a truck and trailer, has experience towing and backing trailers, and takes pride in delivering equipment safely and on time. Key Responsibilities Deliver new, used, serviced, and rental golf carts to customers safely and on schedule. Pick up golf carts from customer homes, businesses, communities, and other locations. Safely load and unload golf carts from trailers. Properly secure golf carts using approved straps, tie-downs, and procedures before transport. Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers. Inspect golf carts for visible damage before loading and after delivery. Verify the correct golf cart, VIN/serial number, accessories, paperwork, and delivery location before leaving the dealership. Obtain customer signatures and complete required delivery and pickup paperwork. Communicate professionally with customers and explain basic golf cart controls when necessary. Maintain communication with the store regarding delivery status, delays, customer concerns, or scheduling issues. Safely operate company trucks, trailers, ramps, winches, and other delivery equipment. Keep company vehicles and trailers clean, organized, and presentable. Report vehicle, trailer, or equipment problems immediately. Assist with moving and organizing golf carts around the dealership or storage area. Assist other departments with general duties when the delivery schedule allows. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic laws. Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Experience driving pickup trucks and towing trailers preferred. Ability to safely back, maneuver, and park a truck and trailer. Experience loading and securing golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, equipment, or similar vehicles is preferred. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to follow delivery schedules, GPS directions, and written instructions. Must be able to properly complete delivery and pickup paperwork. Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude when dealing with customers. Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly enter and exit trucks and golf carts. Ability to climb onto and work around trailers. Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, and perform physical work associated with loading and securing carts. Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds when necessary. Ability to work outdoors in heat, rain, and other normal weather conditions. Safety Expectations The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that every golf cart is properly loaded and secured before transportation. Drivers must operate company vehicles safely, obey traffic laws, inspect equipment before use, and immediately report accidents, damage, unsafe conditions, or mechanical problems. Customer Service Expectations Our Delivery Drivers are often the final dealership representative a customer sees during a purchase or service experience. Drivers are expected to be courteous, professional, helpful, and respectful of customers and their property at all times.
