DI Coffee Bar is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Food Prep & In-House Delivery Associate to support our growing multi-location operation. This role combines food preparation with scheduled in-house deliveries between our café locations and is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of kitchen work, organization, and independent responsibility. This is not third-party delivery — deliveries are between DI Coffee Bar locations only and include assisting with unloading and restocking pastry cases.
Schedule Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays:
In-house delivery route between locations with food prep shifts following delivery

Primarily daytime, with some flexibility as needed Locations Primary prep location: Davis Islands Delivery stops include: Davis Islands (original location) Seminole Heights (6114 N Central Ave, Tampa, FL 33604) Midtown location Return to original location Responsibilities - Food Preparation Prepare sandwiches, burritos, croissants, pastries, and other grab-and-go items Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety standards Label, organize, and store prepped items for transport Maintain a clean, organized prep workspace Work independently and efficiently during prep shifts In-House Delivery & Stocking Transport prepped food safely between DI Coffee Bar locations using a personal vehicle Load, unload, and restock food items and pastry cases at each shop Ensure product quality and presentation standards are met at each location Communicate clearly with management regarding shortages, delays, or issues Complete the full delivery route in a timely and organized manner Pay & Compensation $18/hour for all prep and delivery-related labor time (driving, unloading, restocking) Delivery routes typically take ~2 hours but may take up to 3 hours depending on traffic and workload Vehicle expense reimbursement per completed delivery route to cover gas and vehicle use Overtime paid in accordance with labor laws Qualifications Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred Must have a valid driver's license Must have reliable personal transportation Must maintain personal auto insurance meeting Florida requirements Ability to lift and carry trays, boxes, and food items Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
