- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license (CDL not required, but a plus depending on truck size)
- Clean driving record
- Regularly lift and move items up to 50-75 lbs, with or without assistance
- T ime management and organizational skills
- C ommunication and customer service skills
- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred Personal Attributes
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience working with nonprofits or in a thrift/retail environment
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures Job Summary This position will be responsible for picking up donated goods, delivering items between store and customer locations, and assisting with loading and unloading. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting our mission of serving the community. Key Responsibilities Box Truck Driver
- Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver donated items (furniture, clothing, household goods, etc.)
- Load and unload donations, often with the assistance of a helper or store staff
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with donors and customers during pickups
- Inspect vehicle before and after trips; report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and mileage logs
- Follow all traffic laws and organizational safety policies
- Assist with basic warehouse or store tasks as needed Food Pantry
- Perform the pick-up of food for the food pantry between Grocery stores and Pantry. Administrative Duties
- Maintain donations and other key metrics.
