Duties:

Safely operate a step van, cargo van or box truck while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Efficiently deliver packages at 80 to 100 locations per day Accurately navigate routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of packages Conduct pre and post trip vehicle safety inspections Carefully handle and maneuver packages of various shapes and sizes

Requirements:

Must be physically able to handle packages up to 150 pounds Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (no moving violations in the past two years and no at-fault accidents in the past 3 years) Must pass a full background check and drug test Must be able to pass a DOT Medical physical exam

Experience:

Previous commercial driving experience operating a cargo van, step van, box truck or other large commercial vehicle is required Previous experience as a delivery driver, local driver, truck driver, route driver or courier is a plus
