Part-Time Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

Duties Safely operate shuttle buses, vans, or limousines to transport clients to medical facilities, pharmacies, and community centers. Assist passengers with mobility needs, including loading and unloading heavy lifting equipment or wheelchairs. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and appearance. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm appointments and provide friendly, professional service. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during each trip. Complete trip logs, incident reports, and vehicle inspection checklists accurately and promptly. Coordinate with dispatch or supervisors to optimize routes and schedules for efficiency. Experience Prior shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with paratransit or heavy lifting is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or bus driving certification is advantageous. Experience operating various vehicle types such as buses, limousines, or school buses is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met. Customer service experience demonstrating patience, professionalism, and empathy when assisting diverse clients. Ability to handle physical tasks involving light lifting and assist passengers with mobility challenges confidently. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
