Job Description
Training is $100 a day Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on route driving, load and unload operations, and maintaining a positive customer experience. Candidates should have prior delivery driver experience, familiarity with warehouse equipment, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving packages. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this position. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to complete daily delivery routes Load and unload packages Deliver packages accurately and on time to residential and commercial customers Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route maps, ensuring timely deliveries Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist in warehouse activities such as sorting, organizing, and preparing packages for delivery when needed Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or route driving roles Warehouse experience including loading/unloading is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission Ability to lift heavy packages up to 150 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks such as moving items and loading/unloading cargo Familiarity with safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation is desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; DOT is a plus but not required This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
