Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will leverage your skills in delivery driving, heavy lifting, and warehouse operations to support smooth and reliable supply chain operations. Your ability to safely navigate routes and manage cargo will be essential to the success of our logistics team.
We value specialized skills, and experience in commercial driving, forklift operation, or professional moving is highly regarded. What You Will Do Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to complete scheduled deliveries. Load and unload materials and commissary orders with care to prevent damage. Organize and secure cargo to ensure efficient delivery routes and timely distribution. Utilize hand carts or pallet jacks to assist with unloading at facilities, as needed. Distribute commissary orders directly to inmates in accordance with MSC guidelines. Operate ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems when required, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State transportation regulations. Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including receipts, logs, and recipient signatures. Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance to ensure road worthiness. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies. Support additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team. Qualifications & Requirements Must be 18yrs or older Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role Skilled in safely operating and maneuvering large vehicles Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws, routes, and navigation Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Capable of heavy lifting and meeting the physical demands of the job Strong organizational and time management abilities DOT Medical Card preferred (or willing to obtain within a month from hire) Position Details 12-hour Night Shift Typical schedule: 1:00am - 1:00pm No Weekends $19.00 Per Hour Your home every night Benefits Overview We're committed to supporting the well-being and financial future of our team.
